I took Ripped Fuel by Twinlab for years and got good results, until I heard that it caused heart problems if used for extensive periods of time. Is that true, or another rumor thrown out by those who think everything you take is bad for you? Do you have any good metabolic supplement suggestions? Thanks....
Ripped fuel and the various "fat burners" out there do work but you really need to cycle these supplements to avoid a down-regulation of your body's natural adrenal stimulants. You should cycle your fat burners with a 2 week on 2 week off cycle. Then, once per year, you can stay on for up to 8 weeks without any negative consequences. You should check with your doctor beforehand, however, to see about blood pressure concerns and any contraindications with other medications. Remember, hard training and consistent dieting are the true keys to long term success!
