Theraband Military Press - Alternating Arms, Seated

Attach the Theraband or rubber tubing to a stationary object on the floor. You can also simply place your feet on the ends of the Therabands as your are sitting on a bench or chair. Grasp the other end of the band in your hands. <br></br> In addition to the thicness or resistance of the band, the more stretched the band is the greater the resistance will be so you may have to experiment and find or position the band to match your strength levels. <br></br> The band or bands should be stretched along the outer side of your body. Your arms should be bent so your hands are slightly outside your shoulders. <br></br> Exhale and press one arm at a time above your head. Breath naturally throughout this exercise. Don't hold your breath!<br></br> Perform the required number of sets. If it says to do 10 reps, each arm will need to all 10 reps to count as 1 set. Don't forget to make a note on how the exercise felt to you!
